We played hard on this gorgeous, warm three-day weekend. First we joined Mike and Peg on their two-day tour of the Skaneateles area 8/30-8/31. Saturday Mike led the group on a 40-mile ride around Skaneateles Lake, while Peg and Bob Dicker led a shorter 25-mile tour of the area including local waterfalls and a fish hatchery. Then it was time to enjoy happy hour at the motel pool, a stroll through town, dinner and ice cream stroll on the pier, the best of Skaneateles. Sunday we rose early, had breakfast then headed into town to watch a triathalon in progress. We stood lakeside to watch the athletes finishing up their one-mile swim and jog to the finish line. Soon it was time for the 38-mile tour of Owasco Lake or another Bob Dicker shorter tour of the area. Thanks Mike and Peg!
