Juergen and Marcia celebrated a return to Killington where they were married. Gloria and Wilma were out skiing all day, and we suspect dancing all night. The Field and Johnson clans were giving bump clinics on Outer Limits and almost missed happy hour because they didn’t want to quit. The North Star Lodge offered good accommodations, good beer prices and a hot tub. Our group of 30 Huggers, family and friends of all ages had a ball.
The mountain had just gotten over a foot of snow before we arrived and we got plenty more over the weekend. Thanks to Kathy W. for dancing an Irish jig to the snow gods. Maybe that’s why powder hound Dave W.’s hat always seemed full of snow. Stu and Cheryl uncovered some scenic greens to traverse the mountain (Wayne’s favorite). Jules gets the first-in-lift-line award, true to fashion.
