Holiday Hurrah 2002 . . . . . . . Return to "Dinners", or . . "Social Activities"

January 12, 2002
On January 12, the Huggers had their Holiday Hurrah at the Plantation Party House. It was a great setting for an evening of good food, music, dancing, and enjoying the company of friends. I had thought I would have to encourage this group to get out on the dance floor. Was I wrong! Huggers had some great dancers and they wasted no time showing off their moves. At one point, someone said to me that a group of women on the dance floor should be arrested for having too much fun. It seemed everyone had a good time and many asked me when the next party was going to be held.

After the December Meeting, this event was almost cancelled. I really wanted this party. I like ways of bringing all the different segments of our group together. Eventually, enough Huggers signed up and we had a great time. But the point is, we all need to try and sign up early for events so we can make them happen.

Thanks to all of you who came and made this event a success!!!
