2002 FootBall

Red, White, and Drew! The day was almost perfect. Almost perfect means the Bills didn't win against the Raiders! It was, however, a really exciting game! The weather was excellent. In fact, if you didn't have sunscreen on, you probably got sunburn. It was one of those days where you start out with T-shirt, sweatshirt, and jacket. By the time we arrived at the stadium, we were shedding the jackets. Before going into the stadium, we were shedding the sweatshirts. They were even a few shapely Raider fans who were showing a bit of skin (much to the enjoyment of some of the Huggers).
The event consisted of bus transportation, before the game tailgate lunch, game tickets, and after-the-game tailgate lunch. Dianne outdoes herself in putting on the tailgate meals. For lunch, we had steak and chicken, fruit salad, potato salad, peppers and onions, macaroni salad, and more. For dinner, we had hot dogs or sausage, along with fruit salad, etc. No one goes hungry!
Besides talking with fellow Huggers, it's always interesting to walk around and see what the vendors are selling or just to watch the people. There are some really crazy fans out there. I think the Raiders' fans are especially crazy! We had a good time even though the Bills didn't win. Thanks, Diane, for running a great event! And, thanks, to everyone who pitched in and helped out! Go Bills!
P.S. Thanks to Mary K. for letting us use her home for the food preparation and all her help.
