The 2002 Corn Maze Adventure
Unfortunately, due to inclement weather and the resulting lack of participation, this year's Cornmaze had to be cancelled. But we'll be back next year, so check back with us!

The 2001 Corn Maze Adventure
You all must have seen 2001 A Space Odyssey by now. But, have you seen 2001 A Space Cob-yssey? If you have not, you should. Those of us who were fortunate to travel through the corn-infested solar system at Long Acre Farms on September 29 were glad we did. Thanks to our fearless flag-toting leaders and curious fellow astronauts, we were able to meander our way back to Earth -- EVENTUALLY!
Tony L., our humanoid host, deserves the greatest thanks for inviting us to join him on his ingenious recreational activity and for welcoming us to his cobblestone country home, which was built only forty-nine years after the Declaration of Independence was signed. We enjoyed exploring Tony's massive country property as well. Tony generously offered the rest of us earthlings tulip and daffodil bulbs and Indian corn to commemorate our pleasant visit. In addition, Tony chose Gaetano's Villa in Macedon as a place for us participating earthlings to dine after our journey in space. The servings were larger than most of us earthlings could handle. As if dinner wasn't enough, Tony also invited us back to his cozy home for earthly dessert, which he had prepared ahead of time. Thanks, Tony! Thanks, Fellow Earthlings.

The 2000 Corn Maze Adventure
Having avoided the dire weather predictions with a bright and sunny afternoon, the annual Maze event delighted everyone. Tony planned and executed a not-to-be-missed-next-year outing. After gathering in the field next to Tony's 1825 cobblestone home, we climbed aboard his tractor-drawn hay wagon, piled with straw, and traveled the countryside to Long Acre Farms in Macedon. The fall air was crisp and the leaves gorgeous. After listening to instructions on how to negotiate the Maze, we broke up into teams, selected a team flag, name, and ventured into the Maze. Lots of dashing about, strategy (or not), everyone exited the Maze happy to have completed the event. Back on the wagon and a brisk ride back to Tony’s home. Several people had to leave the group at that point, but the others went out to dinner together afterward. Great food, good conversation - lovely ending to what we believed to be the end of a great day, but the fun didn’t end there! Tony had prepared the best cheesecake! Coffee, dessert, conversation and a peek around the museum Tony calls home. What a charming host and lovely home – a special thanks to Tony! As we left, the night sky in the dark, dark countryside gave us a spectacular showing of the Aurora Borealis. Can you stand it? Terrific!
