Breckenridge is an updated old mining town with lots to offer even if you do not ski. The scenery is to die for! The historic district is loaded with old buildings and museums. Free bus service runs throughout the county. The chalet is located a block from downtown’s restaurants, high-end shops, spas and other activities and is at the base of the ski area’s Four O’Clock Run. There are many close-by options for both X-country and downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, fly fishing, etc. March is usually the snowiest month in the mountains, but also sunny and warm.
