Bowling . . . . . . . Return to "Sporting Events"

Bowling Party with a Twist
Saturday, March 20, 2010

St. Boniface Church, 330 Gregory St., Rochester

What a wonderful time was had by the 31 bowlers and partiers that attended Twisted Bowling on March 20th. Iris rolled high score on traditional bowling while Terry Mo. took 1st prize in the challenge of LOW score or "Twisted Bowling".

Harold M. and Jeanne took 2nd and 3rd for the "twisted" bowlers while Joanna and Brenda (yes, she finally made an appearance at a Huggers event!!) took 2nd and 3rd in the regular bowling games. Booby prizes went to Brenda (again) and Judy H... Some of our favorite people brought delicious snacks to pass such as pink stacked brownies created by Melinda S. and Ken Mc’s Buffalo Wild Wing Dip.

There were some tense moments when Charlie H. took twisted bowling to a whole new level with a throw that wound up in the bleacher seats behind the alleys! Watch out for him, Pat!!

Cassie played alternate bowling and billiard games "Where is she"? Deb A. (One of our newest members), won the 1st door prize of the night - there’s more fun on the way for you in the Huggers!! Tom S. and Don G. thought they would skunk us all with tag team bowling between the 2 alleys - Good try Guys!!

Jeanne and her guy Rich played winner takes all on the billiard table - hope it was you, Jeanne!! And then there were the game players!!! Trudy enjoyed throwing the cards much more than the bowling balls along with Toni, Barb V., Chrissy, Judy H., Helen (who had to get ready for vacation) and Fino who kept the girls company.

Dave K. -you really needed your camera for a shot of Sally’s on the floor deliveries, despite Marcia’s great coaching! Alice P. finally had chance to "bowl low" when she took over for a bowler who had to make a quick exit. Stacy arrived in time to make "Midnight bowling" and got in 2 games to catch up to the rest of us. Can you tell we all had a great time? - Jody
