Welcome to the Huggers Ski Club website. We were founded in Rochester, NY in 1970 and have been going strong ever since. We're proud to be providing some of the most fantastic deals for adults over 21 to have fun of all kinds in the greater Rochester area.

We are much more than a ski club, but that's how we got our start. We have parties, dances, frequent bike rides with a group that we call "Pedal Power", Camping trips, and Galloping Gourmet" dinner gatherings at a wide variety of area restaurants. We have hiking and weekly walks all year-round sponsored by our "Pacesetters" group (and they snowshoe in the winter!), Tennis, bus trips to plays in New York and Toronto plus Buffalo Bills games. Being a ski club, of course we have many Cross-country and Downhill ski trips near and far. They range from one day to one week in length.

We have about 500 members. Although we're not a singles club, about 80% of us are single. Even though we're a ski club, some of our most active members don't ski at all. We welcome everyone, single or married, skiers and non-skiers alike. You might think of us as the Huggers Ski and Social Club! We offer fun times for everyone, from twenty-somethings to "seasoned citizens".

We meet the second Thursday of every month at Rick's Prime Rib House, 898 Buffalo Rd., Gates. Socializing starts at 7:00 PM, but many people come earlier to have a bite to eat and drink. The business meeting and event sales begin around 7:30 PM.

We think we offer the greatest deal going in Rochester. Membership is only $30 for singles to join and $20 a year to renew. Couples are $50 to join and $30 to renew. You can join at any meeting or print the application form on this website and mail it in with your check.
